The purpose of using Grass cut & collect Machine

Airport need to continuously work on reducing the possibility of bird hits & hence controlling the grass lands require timely cutting and collection of Grass.

When the Grass is maintained at around 6 inches height, the birds find it very difficult to sit & nest in the grass land.

If grass growth is not controlled, the grass grows wild and becomes very good source for Rodents, Reptiles & insects. These Rodents, Reptiles & insects attract preying birds towards the Airport & whenever an Eagle or an owl hits the Aircraft engine, it causes damage to the engine & can also lead to mid Air Engine fires. Thus proper maintenance of Grass land is a must & hence Trilo Cut & collect machines have proved to be a boon to Airport Operator’s as it was practically impossible to remove cut grass clippings with manual intervention.
